No Fur Coats This Winter
Updated: Feb 21
I don’t know where you live, but here in the Dallas area, the temperatures are a bit chilly. I look forward to pulling out my warm and woolly sweaters and cozying up in front of the fireplace. It truly is the most wonderful time of the year.
When the temperatures drop, I begin to notice a consistent theme among women. It is this time of year we tend to neglect the one thing that we wouldn’t dream of ignoring during shorts and swimsuit season. You guessed it…hair-removal!
Ladies, cooler weather is not a springboard for us to begin hibernating and neglecting our beauty treatments. Colder months are not a license to grow a winter coat. Besides, the benefits of a regular waxing schedule are far greater than the feeling of sliding your unkempt legs into your winter jammies.
Benefit #1: The more you wax, the less hair you produce over time. Maintaining consistency is key!
Benefit #2: The more you wax, the less painful the process is. Over time, your hair becomes thinner making it easier to wax.
Benefit #3: Body hair grows at different rates. The more your wax, the more conditioned your hair becomes to growing at the same time. This will make your waxing treatments more effective, giving you a lasting smooth feel.
Benefit #4: Waxing reduces your chances of ingrowns significantly. The more you wax the finer your hair is and less likely to grow back into the skin.
